Christeen Dawn Constant

June 19, 1972 - May 4, 2026

The Family of Christeen Dawn Constant is sad to announce that suddenly, on May 4, 2026, Christeen left us.

Christeen was born in Winnipeg on June 19, 1972, to Sharon Dawn and Robert Lucien Constant.

She was pre-deceased by her father and her older brother, Ken. She is survived by her mother, Sharon (Bill), her brother’s dog Krystal and her younger sister, Michelle (Ron), as well as her Uncle, Joe, (Lianne) and cousins Liam and Claire.

Christeen attended Principal Sparling Elementary School and Gordon Bell High School. Following her interest in helping people she became a very good Health Care Aide. Christeen cared greatly for her family and her community. She was the “main babysitter” for several children needing love and haven throughout her life. She took pride in caring for her father during his years of medical challenges. She was keen on family history and kept in touch with aunts, uncles and cousins, and took every opportunity she had to get out to the countryside for visits.

Growing up, she enjoyed time with her family at their cottage at Pelican Lake, especially loving swimming and fishing, and most recently was ice fishing in Manigotogan, reeling in the walleye!! Christeen cherished dogs and cats and was a great “cat mom” to many felines in need of a loving home.

Christeen was ONE OF A KIND, a free spirit, and she will be profoundly missed. Cremation has already taken place and, in accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be interred at the family plot at the Hilton Cemetery MB.

Christeen’s CELEBRATION OF LIFE will take place on her 54 th Birthday, Friday, June 19, 2026. Please contact Michelle Constant 204-333-9147 for CELEBRATION OF LIFE details.

Donations may be made in Christeen’s memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society Pet Food Bank, Centre Flavie, Agape Table Food Bank. Christeen benefitted from these Community Services which we are grateful for.
