Darryl Richard Lambert

March 17, 1987 - March 15, 2026

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of Darryl Richard Lambert on March 15, 2026 at the age of 38 years

Darryl was born in Winnipeg on March 17, 1987. 

He was recently predeceased by his mother, Sandra Lambert.

Darryl is loved and remembered by his father Claude Lambert(Leslie Flynn), brother Justin, sister Brittany Collier(Bryan), niece Ellianna, nephew Nicholas, step-brother Aaron Daoust(Mackenzie Jamieson), grandmother Doris Lambert, sons Maverick and Kieran and their mother Amanda Pinsent as well as a large extended family.

Darryl was raised in the Elm Park area of Winnipeg where he attended Windsor School and Glenlawn Collegiate. He was passionate about soccer, hockey, golf, electronics, loud music, fishing and fixing anything that needed repair. Darryl was also known for his wicked smile, caring heart and great sense of humor.

Growing up he enjoyed many happy times at Grandma and Grandpa Lambert’s family cottage in Lac du Bonnet as well as many hours spent tinkering on electronics with his Grandpa Barney Oldfield.

The family would like to thank the RCMP Gimli Detachment and Winnipeg Major Crimes for their compassion and professionalism, the people of Riverton and our family and friends for their love and support as we navigated this heartbreaking time. We would also like to thank Brad Finnson for his kindness to Darryl over the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
