William (Bill) Lorne Hamilton

June 7, 1945 - April 26, 2025

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of William (Bill) Hamilton.  Bill passed away on April 26, 2025, after many years of health problems.  Bill was born on June 7, 1945, in Kenora, Ontario.

He is survived by his loving wife Cindi, son Gregory and granddaughter Cora and Kris. His daughter Kim (Rick) and grandsons Ryan (Gia) and Cameron. Sister Loretta and his sister-in-law Paulie.

Bill is also survived by his nephews Rob (Traci), David (Vicki), Garry (Lynne), Rick (Shannon), Jeff (Maria) and Derrick; Niece, Kai-Lee and their families.

Bill loved Lake of the Woods and our cottage there, he enjoyed boating, swimming and fishing (especially when we were catching them).

We enjoyed sunsets and watching the stars and planets at night. There are many stories about boat and bear troubles while we were there. There are so many great memories of our times at the lake. 

We also had many car trips to British Columbia and to the U.S. from which we had many wonderful memories.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a private Celebration of Life for Bill in the summer of 2025.

The family would like to thank all the HCA’s and nurses for all their love and attention to Bill.
