June Nagy

August 18, 1936 - September 14, 2026

June passed away peacefully at the Heritage Lodge in Winnipeg, at the age of 90 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Janus Nagy, her brother Douglas Oldham and by her sister, Eleanor Wood.

June will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susan Grimwood, Dawn Steffensen, John (Rose) Mayo and Darren (Brenda) Mayo; grandchildren Peter (Denise) Fox, Jackie (Matt) Ducharme, Brian (Kathiee) Maendel, Sabrina Fisette, Tristin Giesbrecht, Alex O’Brien (Shannon) and Alicia Perdikis.

Great gandchildren, Wyatt, Chloe, Emily, Celeste, Brayson and Christopher: Great granddaughter, Elizabeth.

She also leaves her brother David Oldham and numerous nieces and nephews back in England.

June was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England and emmigrated to Canada in October of 1964.

The family especially thank the staff at the Heritage Lodge for all their care of our Mum in her final few weeks and to the staff at Branch & Pyre.

A private cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Headingly, Manitoba.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in June’s name.
