Kenneth Murray Siwak
October 16, 1950 - February 18, 2026
With tremendous strength, to wait long enough to hear from his soulmate, daughter, sons and grandchildren, a determined Kenneth Murray Siwak peacefully ventured on to his next journey.
After a lifetime of giving joy, his final stroke was his message from God to say farewell. Kenny determinedly waited to say he loved everyone. In whatever journey that Kenny takes, he will forever be known as Gigi. Wherever Gigi’s journey takes him, his love and hugs will always be waiting for those dearest to him.
Kenny was predeceased by his parents Allan and Carrie (Gallant) Siwak, first wife Valerie Siwak (Delichte), siblings Bernice, Chester, Ronnie and in-laws, Leo, Irene, Adam, Currnie, Carol and Darren.
Survived by his wife MaryAnn and siblings Marilyn, Iris, Teddy and Betty. Also, survived by Daughter Tara Mozdzen (Cory Mozdzen); Sons Jason Siwak (Sue Devlin) and Curtis Siwak (Jada Siwak); Sons Troy Haddad and Shay Haddad (Serena Lem); Grandchildren Darrian Hendrickson, Ella Siwak, Aurora Siwak and Orion Siwak and many treasured Nephews and Nieces. Kenneth was born in Russel Manitoba.
He was raised in a large family and grew up on a farm that demanded hard work and love. He lifted so many hay bales during his younger days that made him realize that he could settle down to focus on his better talents. He knew he had a gift for fixing things.
He completed his college, and pursued his lifetime career in heavy duty mechanics, the beginning of his pathway to raising three children who would also learn the virtues of generosity and hard work. Kenny was full of life; his Joy was so contagious. He and his wife MaryAnn were always driven by a desire to see everyone happy, to do well, to be safe and comfortable. Kenny’s instinct was to always give, to lend a hand, to offer a hug, to make sure that no one went without. There would be a meal for his neighbour, an ice cream before supper for his grandchildren, a sandwich for his golf buddies, a warm embrace for anyone that needed one.
Gigi’s love was constant and unconditional. He would lighten up a room. His presence was always felt wherever he went. Wherever Gigi’s journey takes him, there is no doubt that there will be a kitchen and his place to do woodwork. There will be a golf course, a boat, a baseball field, and a crib board. All these places will be filled with his kids and grandkids, parents, brothers, sisters, friends and his wife of over forty years. It is in these places where he was so delighted to share his most precious moments with friends and family.
From an early age, Gigi learned to run fast, thanks to his protective brothers and sisters who could never catch him. He carried an athletic spirit throughout his life, finding joy in baseball, hockey and golf, where he formed lifelong friendships and shared countless laughs.
There are so many things to remember about this good man. Please embrace and join for a moment together.
