Samantha (Sam) Elizabeth Simpson

April 5, 1988 - April 27, 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, niece, Samantha (“Sam”) Elizabeth Simpson, age 38, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on April 27, 2026.

Born in North York, Ontario, on April 5, 1988, Sam was the cherished daughter of Darlene and Blaine (stepfather) and the late Harold Simpson. A deeply loved sister to Matt (Amy), Mark (Justyna), Rebecca (Tyler), and Jake. She was a proud and loving aunt to Ella and Leah. A much-loved granddaughter of the late Anne Rhodes. She will be greatly missed by all her friends across the country.

Sam lived life on her own terms—fearless, adventurous, and full of energy. She was always on the go, always chasing the next experience, and always surrounded by people she loved. Her laugh, her spirit, and her deep heart will be missed more than words can express. She had a special love for country music, Cleveland Browns and lately numerology, horoscopes and crafting. She absolutely loved spending time with friends and family.

Our lives will never be the same without her, but we are grateful for every moment, every memory, and every adventure we shared.

       A service to celebrate Sam’s life will be at announced at a later date.
