Rosemary Ivy Hepburn

September 4, 1932 - October 1, 2025

Rosemary Ivy Hepburn (Hayden), born Rosemary Ivy Ashmore, cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday October 1, 2025, at the age of 93, in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Rosemary was predeceased by her parents Mabel and John, her brothers Leonard and John, and her past partners, Thomas and George.

She is survived by a large loving family in Manitoba, as well as her siblings and extended family overseas in the United Kingdom.

With love and gratitude, we remember our beloved Rosemary — bearing witness firsthand to her kind-heartedness, calming nature, and her unwavering strength and resilience. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and a gentle spirit, her British humor and quirky sayings always leaving us smiling.

Even through health challenges, she faced life with grace and perseverance, reminding us of what it truly means to live fully. Her laughter, love, and warmth will continue to bloom within her family — from Winnipeg, Canada to the United Kingdom and across the world.

As we remember her, we’ll be sure to raise a cuppa’ in her honor - a small tribute to a truly remarkable woman, whose beautiful life was so warmly lived and deeply loved.

Cremation has taken place, and a small private internment will be held with family at St. Clements Mapleton Columbarium and Churchyard at a later date.
